Youll work within a Special Education District, serving students from kindergarten through high school. Desired Qualifications:
- Active School Social Worker certificate (310), or ability to work under supervision while obtaining certification.
- Experience supporting K-12 students, preferably within special education.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Adaptable, collaborative approach; ready to work across multiple sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative services for students with special needs across K-12.
- Assess social, emotional, and behavioral needs and implement individualized intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop IEPs and support positive outcomes.
- Deliver services during the Extended School Year (ESY: 6/30/268/6/26, up to 25 hours/week) and New School Year (NSY: 8/17/266/11/27, up to 35 hours/week).
