A school-based social worker is needed to provide support for students in a K-12 educational setting located in Plymouth, MI. This is a full-time contract position, requiring 35 hours per week, with an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services
• Connect families with community resources and support services
• Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

• Experience as a social worker in school or healthcare settings, preferably working with K-12 populations
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development and mental health
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
