Job Description

A full-time Social Worker position is available at an elementary school in Plymouth, MI. This contract role involves providing social work services in a school setting to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and support students' social and emotional well-being
Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
Facilitate counseling sessions and group work
Assist with crisis intervention as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Licensed Social Worker with experience in school social work
Strong understanding of child development and school-based social services
Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and external agencies
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to supporting student success and well-being

Location:

Elementary School, Plymouth, MI

Schedule and Duration:

Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract position for the current school year

This role is contracted through a staffing agency and requires immediate availability.
