Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Holds all required credentials for practicing as a Social Worker in schools
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students, especially those in emotional support programs
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with teachers, parents, and staff
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized interventions and supports
- Problem-solving mindset and organizational abilities to manage caseload priorities
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct social and emotional support services to K-4 students
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP teams as needed
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support to students and families
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to create positive learning experiences
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress notes according to school standards
