Key Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island Social Worker license required.
• Experience in a school setting (elementary preferred).
• Ability to manage documentation for Medicaid reimbursement.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services for elementary-aged students on a leave coverage basis.
• Maintain accurate records and service logs for Medicaid reimbursement purposes.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on student care and support plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing intervention plans.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all school and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in onboarding processes, including completion of a National BCI with fingerprints (state and federal level).

This position is scheduled from January 27th through March 28th, with a potential extension through the end of the school year. Youll be assigned to one school, ensuring consistency with your caseload and fostering strong relationships.
