Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
• Prior experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and advocacy skills
• Ability to assess and address a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
• Comfortable supporting students from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
• Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary school teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling to students experiencing academic, social, or personal challenges
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to individual needs
• Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community resources
• Offer crisis response and mediation services as needed
• Lead or participate in IEP and 504 meetings, and create relevant documentation
• Deliver classroom guidance and workshops on topics such as conflict resolution, anti-bullying, and mental health awareness
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being
