Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state Social Work license and/or school social work credential (or ability to obtain)
• Previous experience as a Social Worker in an educational setting preferred
• Strong collaboration and consultation abilities with educators, families, and community partners
• Familiarity with crisis intervention and trauma-informed practices
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Clear background check and required immunizations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students in need
• Serve as a liaison connecting students, families, and community resources to enhance overall well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to develop strategies promoting a supportive learning environment
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) teams, and student support services
• Deliver crisis intervention and advocate for students rights and needs
• Maintain accurate records and confidential documentation according to school and legal guidelines
