Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current and active state licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or similar settings
• Strong understanding of crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and trauma-informed practices
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, parents, and community partners
• Commitment to inclusive, culturally competent practice

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement support strategies in the classroom
• Facilitate group sessions focused on social skills, coping mechanisms, and peer relationships
• Engage families in the support process, facilitating meetings and providing important resources and referrals as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and review educational and behavioral goals
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services provided
• Serve as a liaison connecting the school with outside agencies and services
