Based onsite and serving a district-wide caseload near Palatine, IL, you will collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to nurture the academic and social-emotional growth of K-12 students. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois SSW license (required)
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement (required)
• Previous experience serving diverse student populations within school settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of interventions, assessments, and support strategies tailored for students with varying needs
• Flexible, adaptable mindset to support district-wide initiatives and adjust to changing priorities

Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support services across the district as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students needs
• Complete assessments and develop plans, reports, and interventions for students
• Collaborate with educators and administrators to design and implement student support programs
• Serve as a liaison between school, families, and community resources
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all district and state guidelines
