This rewarding contract opportunity focuses on conducting a bilingual (Spanish) evaluation as part of a Child Study Team for a preschool student. Situated near Oxford, NJ, youll collaborate with educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for a students initial evaluation.
Key Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
- Experience working within school settings or with preschool-aged children
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English to complete a thorough bilingual assessment
- Familiarity with Child Study Team processes, specifically initial evaluations
- Strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and community resources
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the School Social Worker on the Child Study Team to conduct an initial evaluation for a preschool student
- Administer a bilingual assessment (Spanish required) and prepare detailed reports
- Coordinate with teachers, specialists, and families during evaluation sessions
- Adhere to prescribed deadlines, ensuring final Evaluation Report is submitted by 07/01/2026
- Work student hours from 8:30 AM 2:30 PM, staff hours from 8:00 AM 2:55 PM
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines
