• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker

• Effective communicator who can build rapport with students, families, and staff
• Organized, flexible, and skilled at managing multiple responsibilities
• Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community

Key responsibilities in this role:

• Provide direct counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop action plans
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to design interventions and monitor progress
• Advocate for students by linking them with appropriate community resources
• Lead and participate in team meetings, IEP processes, and crisis response initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality in all interactions
• Facilitate classroom presentations or group activities focused on social-emotional learning
