Key Qualifications:

• Current school social worker license issued by PELSB is required.
• Experience working as a school social worker or in related social services roles within educational settings.
• In-depth understanding of social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and community resource coordination.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide group and individual counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Facilitate collaboration between students, families, educators, and community agencies to support student success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the assessment process.
• Deliver crisis intervention as needed and assist in creating a safe, inclusive school climate.
