Job Description

Youll collaborate closely with educators and administrators to address various student needs, developing and implementing action plans tailored for individual situations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for school social work credentials
  • Previous experience working in a K-12 environment is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Compassionate and proactive approach to student welfare
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention and case management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students facing academic, behavioral, and social challenges
  • Develop and facilitate intervention plans to support student well-being
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and community resources
  • Document interactions, progress, and recommend referrals as needed
  • Provide crisis counseling, advocacy, and connect students to supportive services
  • Lead small group or classroom sessions on relevant social-emotional issues
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to build supportive environments
