As a vital support for the school community, you will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to foster a safe and inclusive learning space.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Social Worker License
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or teletherapy settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with interventions, counseling strategies, and evidence-based practices for K-12 students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff
- Participate in the IEP/504 process and contribute to student support teams
- Provide crisis intervention services and referrals to community resources as needed
- Promote positive school climate initiatives and advocate for student well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and best practices
