Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Valid School Social Worker certification
• Experience within school settings, ideally with 5th and 6th-grade students
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation, documentation, and support services
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Proven ability to foster trust and rapport with children from diverse backgrounds
• Availability for full-time, onsite work throughout the school year

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services and interventions to support student success
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, including relevant documentation
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address students needs
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and referrals to community resources as needed
• Develop and facilitate programs that support positive behavior and social-emotional growth
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
