Make an impact in the lives of students as a Social Worker supporting K-12 or high school students in a dynamic educational setting. Two distinct openings offer the opportunity to work with either the full range of students, from kindergarten through 12th grade, or focus exclusively on a high school caseload. Both positions play a vital role in empowering young people and helping to cultivate a positive learning environment.
Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Valid licensure as a School Social Worker
- Previous experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students
- Understanding of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges facing todays youth
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, flexible, and culturally sensitive approach
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct services and crisis intervention to students individually and in groups
- Assess student needs and develop individualized support plans
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary teams
- Conduct home visits as needed and coordinate with community resources
- Advocate for students and support school initiatives that foster a safe, inclusive environment
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant policies and regulations
