Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
  • Prior experience in a school or youth-focused setting strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to conduct assessments, write reports, and develop intervention plans
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver counseling services to small groups of students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
  • Manage a caseload that includes approximately 45 evaluations throughout the year
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify student needs and provide solutions
  • Contribute to intervention planning and progress meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Document services provided, outreach efforts, and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on social-emotional interventions and supports
