Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Proficiency in counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, staff, and families
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload, collaborating on IEPs, and documenting services

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling to groups and individual students
• Perform and document student assessments and evaluations (totaling around 45)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
• Assist in designing and implementing school-wide initiatives for positive behavior and inclusion
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state policies
