Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid School Social Worker license and appropriate state credentials
- Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsable to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to provide crisis intervention, counseling, and case management services
- Knowledge of IEP process and special education laws is a plus
- Compassionate, collaborative, and eager to support diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct social and behavioral assessments for students referred for support
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans to assist students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to create supportive networks for students
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with compliance requirements and documentation
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions as needed
- Advocate for student needs and connect families with community resources
This is a full-time position, averaging 35 hours per week during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, offering the chance to work with a dynamic and collaborative school team.
