Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid School Social Worker license and appropriate state credentials
• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skillsable to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to provide crisis intervention, counseling, and case management services
• Knowledge of IEP process and special education laws is a plus
• Compassionate, collaborative, and eager to support diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct social and behavioral assessments for students referred for support
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans to assist students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to create supportive networks for students
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist with compliance requirements and documentation
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions as needed
• Advocate for student needs and connect families with community resources

This is a full-time position, averaging 35 hours per week during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, offering the chance to work with a dynamic and collaborative school team.
