Desired Background:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
  • Valid New Jersey School Social Worker certification (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively support students from diverse backgrounds
  • Proficient in crisis intervention, group facilitation, and case management

What Youll Accomplish:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support students emotional and behavioral needs
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective interventions
  • Assist in developing strategies for academic success and improved classroom engagement
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support for students experiencing personal or family challenges
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student interactions and progress
  • Connect families with community resources and external agencies as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
