Job Description

What we're seeking:

  • Current licensure as a School Social Worker in Minnesota
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in a school setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Ability to develop and implement support plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Positive, flexible attitude and commitment to fostering student growth

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students
  • Develop strategies to address social, emotional, or behavioral issues impacting learning
  • Serve as a liaison between families, teachers, and community resources
  • Support a safe and inclusive school climate for all students
  • Participate in case conferences and IEP meetings as necessary
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
