Youll work closely with a collaborative team, helping students navigate challenges, facilitating IEP meetings, and ensuring comprehensive caseload management.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Social Worker certification
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong caseload management skills, especially across K-12 populations
  • Ability to support and actively participate in IEP meetings
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Skilled in conducting evaluations and student assessments
  • Passion for helping students overcome social, emotional, and behavioral obstacles

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide thoughtful social work services to K-12 students, both individually and in small groups
  • Manage caseloads efficiently, documenting interventions and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement student support plans
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights
  • Conduct assessments and assist with developing effective strategies to address student needs
  • Offer crisis intervention and ongoing support to enhance student well-being throughout the school year
