Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Social Work license for the state
- Previous experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students
- Expertise in school-based counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy
- Ability to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and faculty
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and required documentation
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional issues
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive school climate
- Conduct assessments and assist in the development of intervention plans
- Offer crisis prevention and intervention services as needed
- Facilitate communication between home, school, and community resources
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with all regulations and standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development
