What we look for:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Successful experience supporting students in a school setting
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
• Familiarity with IEP processes and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, culturally-responsive support
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and organizational skills

In this role, you will:

• Assess student needs and deliver evidence-based individual or group interventions
• Develop and implement strategies to address academic, social, behavioral, and emotional challenges
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and support the creation of student plans
• Liaise with families, educators, and community agencies to bridge services and resources
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling as needed
• Support professional development and serve as a resource for staff regarding social-emotional learning
