Job Description

A full-time School Social Worker position is available to support elementary students within a contract term for the current school year. This role is based in Bloomington, IL, providing targeted social work services to enhance the well-being and academic success of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and social support to elementary students to address academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to create individualized intervention plans
  • Conduct assessments and develop strategies to support student achievement and mental health
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with relevant policies and procedures
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings focused on student welfare

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Social Worker with experience in school-based settings preferred
