Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in students lives by providing essential support as a social worker in an educational setting. This contract position offers you the chance to work collaboratively with educators and families, addressing students social, emotional, and behavioral needs to help them thrive in school.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current social work license for Illinois
- Previous experience supporting students within a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess student needs and develop effective support plans
- Compassionate, adaptable, and proactive approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students challenges and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to coordinate resources
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling to students as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant laws and guidelines
- Support the school in fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students
