Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed or credentialed as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience in K-12 educational environments, with understanding of various age groups developmental needs
• Proven ability to assess student needs and create individualized intervention plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of social-emotional learning models, trauma-informed practices, and crisis intervention techniques
• Flexibility to adapt to different school cultures and priorities

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and support services to students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Conduct assessments and participate in the development of student support and intervention plans
• Serve as a liaison between students, parents, teachers, and outside agencies as needed
• Deliver classroom presentations and group sessions on social skills, coping strategies, and conflict resolution
• Assist with crisis response, risk assessment, and referrals to community resources
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
