Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota SSW license is required
• Previous experience working as a Social Worker in a school setting
• Strong understanding of general and special education systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive social work services to K-5 students across general education and special education populations
• Assess students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs and develop intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to promote positive outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the creation and implementation of IEPs when needed
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and ongoing support to students
• Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources
