Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid school social worker license issued by PELSB required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration
• Knowledge of child development, mental health, and community resources
• Dedication to fostering student well-being and equity

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct services and interventions to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as needed
• Collaborate with educators to develop strategies supporting student success
• Engage with families, offering guidance and connecting them to resources
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to individualized education plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with school and district policies
