Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
- Familiarity with intervention strategies for diverse student populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment across multiple school levels
- Organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focusing on social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop intervention plans and track student progress
- Facilitate family engagement to connect students and guardians with resources and support
- Participate in student evaluations, contribute to IEP/504 planning, and advocate for student needs
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of services delivered
- Support crisis response and intervention as needed
- Deliver educational workshops promoting mental health, conflict resolution, and positive social skills
