Make a meaningful impact by supporting students growth in a school setting as a Social Worker. This part-time contract opportunity offers a chance to collaborate directly with a small caseload, providing essential services to children and helping to foster a positive learning environment. This onsite role allows you to build strong relationships with students, school staff, and families while maintaining personalized attention for each child.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current ME SLP license required
- Demonstrated experience working with students in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect services tailored to students needs
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver up to 10 hours per week of both direct and indirect services to a caseload of 4 students
- Work onsite to assess, counsel, and support students social and emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to design effective intervention plans
- Maintain up-to-date records, complete required documentation, and ensure confidentiality
- Engage in ongoing communication to monitor student progress and adapt approaches as needed
