In this role, youll provide essential support to students with diverse needs, facilitating positive changes in their social and emotional development to enhance their learning experiences. You'll work closely with IEP teams, offer interventions for struggling students, and help create an inclusive and supportive school environment.

What Youll Bring:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) in school social work (required)
  • Experience supporting general and special education students
  • Ability to plan and deliver group and individual services addressing behavioral and social-emotional issues
  • Competence in providing counseling for students with social/emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver services through individual, small group, or large group sessions for students with behavioral and social-emotional difficulties
  • Provide counseling to students referred by parents or staff
  • Modify instructional resources to address diverse learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with staff to develop and implement effective interventions
