Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student wellness and development in school communities near McKeesport, PA. Two full-time Social Worker positions are now available with caseloads focused on providing emotional support and specialized programming within established educational settings. These onsite roles offer a chance to make a lasting impact through direct engagement with students and multidisciplinary teams.
Available assignments include:
- Position 1: Emotional support and partial hospitalization program at a campus located in McMurray, PA (Immediate start through June 2027, subject to change).
- Position 2: Long-term substitute Social Worker in Coal Center, PA (October 2026end of January 2027, dates to be confirmed).
Key Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Current PA State License for Social Work.
- PDE Educational Specialist certification.
- Demonstrated experience in school settings supporting social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Skilled in direct intervention, crisis management, family engagement, and collaborative consultation.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to commute to both listed campus locations; please assess travel details before proceeding.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver group and individual support for students requiring emotional, behavioral, and mental health interventions.
- Partner with educators, counselors, and families to develop and implement student-centered plans.
- Contribute to program development and progress monitoring within emotional support and partial hospitalization programs.
- Serve as a liaison, connecting school, home, and external resources.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements.
