Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students as a School Social Worker on a full-time contract basis. You'll make a meaningful impact, providing social work services to a caseload of approximately 48 students in an educational environment committed to student success and well-being. This assignment offers the opportunity to work across multiple grade levels, collaborate with educators and families, and shape the educational experience for students requiring social, emotional, and behavioral support.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work required
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 populations, is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Capacity to manage a caseload and develop individualized support plans

Responsibilities Include:

• Directly supporting a caseload of 48 students by conducting assessments and developing intervention strategies
• Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and administrators to address student needs and improve social/emotional outcomes
• Facilitating small groups and one-on-one counseling sessions
• Acting as a liaison between the school, families, and community agencies
• Assisting with crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and compliant documentation
