Qualifications:

  • Active full School Social Worker certification required (must be verified through Michigan DOE Credential Search)
  • Previous experience in school-based social work settings
  • Strong communication and counseling abilities
  • Comfortable working onsite; flexibility for VOCO considered

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students K12
  • Support student success through counseling, intervention, and resource referral
  • Partner with educators and families to address social, emotional, and academic needs
  • Maintain accurate case notes and IEP documentation
  • Provide coverage during maternity leave, JanuaryApril (with possible extension through June)
  • Work up to 40 hours per week
