Two contract opportunities are now available for dedicated social workers: one position spans K-12, while the other focuses exclusively on a high school caseload. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid licensure/certification as a school social worker in the state
• Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly with K-12 or high school students
• Familiarity with current best practices in school social work and student interventions
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students through counseling, crisis intervention, and individualized plans
• Collaborate with school staff and families to address academic, behavioral, and social challenges
• Develop and implement programs to promote a positive, inclusive school climate
• Conduct assessments and help coordinate services for students with diverse needs
• Advocate for students, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing social-emotional insight
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
