Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
• Experience providing counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to children and adolescents
• Strong understanding of behavioral interventions, 504/IEP processes, and restorative practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism
• Previous school or youth-focused experience is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to address social-emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns
• Respond to student crises and collaborate with school staff to deliver timely interventions
• Support students and families by connecting them to appropriate community resources
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 plans, and behavioral interventions
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote a positive school climate
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold standards of ethics and confidentiality
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
