  • Comfortable providing crisis intervention, support groups, and individual counseling

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and provide direct counseling and support for academic, behavioral, or social concerns
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies to develop student support and intervention plans
  • Facilitate communication between home, school, and community resources
  • Lead or participate in student support team meetings and individualized education plan (IEP) processes
  • Connect students and families with mental health resources, referrals, and community assistance programs
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of services provided
