Seeking a skilled Social Worker to support students across Elementary, Middle, and High Schools in Macomb, MI. This contracted position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the educational and emotional well-being of diverse student populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Conduct assessments to identify students needs and monitor progress.
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services.
• Advocate for student welfare and work towards creating a safe and inclusive school environment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and legal guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings.
• Strong understanding of child development and mental health issues affecting students.
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Effective communication and crisis intervention skills.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Social Worker in Michigan is preferred.
