Desired Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
• Experience working with children and adolescents at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong knowledge of social, emotional, and behavioral interventions in a school setting

• Compassionate, adaptable, and culturally sensitive approach to working with students and families
• Proficiency in collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and provide individual or group counseling as appropriate
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support student well-being and academic success
• Serve as a resource for crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and social-emotional learning
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to advocate for students
• Maintain confidential documentation and accurate case records
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and care coordination as required
• Foster relationships with community resources to extend support for students and families
