Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
- Experience working with children and adolescents at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong knowledge of social, emotional, and behavioral interventions in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, adaptable, and culturally sensitive approach to working with students and families
- Proficiency in collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and provide individual or group counseling as appropriate
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support student well-being and academic success
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and social-emotional learning
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to advocate for students
- Maintain confidential documentation and accurate case records
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and care coordination as required
- Foster relationships with community resources to extend support for students and families
