Join a dynamic elementary school environment as a School Social Worker supporting students throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers a structured weekly schedule of 37.5 hours and provides an opportunity to impact the social and emotional well-being of 30 to 40 elementary-aged students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments addressing the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and referral services to students and families.
- Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Social Worker license or certification relevant to school settings.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment.
- Strong understanding of child development, behavioral health, and family dynamics.
