You'll work closely with educators, parents, and outside agencies to ensure students receive the advocacy and resources they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program
Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
Experience in a school or youth-centered setting preferred
Strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills
Ability to build productive relationships with students, families, and staff
Knowledge of crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and student support plans

Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psycho-social assessments and develop intervention strategies for students
Provide counseling, crisis support, and guidance to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
Act as a liaison between school, families, and community organizations to coordinate services
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
Support students experiencing transitions, trauma, truancy, or family challenges
Document services, progress, and ensure compliance with school and state standards
