This opportunity is available for a Licensed School Social Worker to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade in an onsite school setting in Los Lunas, NM, for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position is a contract role requiring 35 hours per week and offers the chance to make a positive impact on the educational and emotional well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to a caseload spanning K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention to support student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans
- Advocate for students social, emotional, and academic success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed School Social Worker (SSW) credential in New Mexico is required
- Experience working in K-12 school environments is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
Location: Los Lunas, New Mexico onsite work within the school environment.
