Job Description

This opportunity is for an experienced School Social Worker to serve a high school caseload in Longmont, CO. This onsite contract position offers a full-time schedule of 35-40 hours per week, providing direct social work services within a school setting. The role focuses on supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to promote a positive and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and community agencies to address student needs
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services
  • Advocate for students and assist with accessing resources that improve academic and personal success
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Current DORA School Social Worker (SSW) license
  • Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider license with endorsement for school social work
  • Experience working within a high school environment is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and student support services
