This position is designed for a School Social Worker to support an Autism Summer School program. With a schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 am to noon, youll have ample time for both rewarding work and personal adventures.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid School Social Worker Certification (emergency or temporary licenses are not accepted)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with students on the Autism spectrum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional support and intervention to students in the Autism Summer School program
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized student plans
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation
- Promote a positive learning environment and advocate for students needs
