Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or the ability to obtain appropriate licensure prior to start date
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize tasks effectively, and work independently
• Competence in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and building rapport with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to identify and address student needs
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
• Develop and implement supportive strategies and individualized plans for students
• Connect families with community resources and educate them on available support services
• Participate in special education assessments, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Deliver workshops and training sessions on social-emotional learning and promote a positive school climate
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
