Job Description

What youll bring:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
  • Fully licensed Social Worker or MSW Limited License (LARA)
  • Must possess one of the following: Preliminary School Social Worker Certificate (PSSWC), Professional School Social Worker Certificate (PSWC), or School Social Worker Permit (SSWP)
  • Active Michigan SW licensure
  • Experience working within school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills to engage with students of diverse backgrounds

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group counseling services to students
  • Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to identify and address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Conduct assessments and help create intervention plans
  • Coordinate with community resources to connect students and families to support services
  • Document progress, maintain student records, and participate in educational team meetings
