Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, ideally across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong understanding of social-emotional development, trauma-informed practices, and crisis intervention
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and external agencies

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and support services to students facing academic, emotional, behavioral, or family-related challenges
• Develop individualized intervention and prevention plans to promote student success
• Lead small group or classroom-based social-emotional learning workshops
• Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to address student needs and support IEPs or 504 plans as appropriate
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
