Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a full-time School Social Worker on a contract basis through June 5th, 2026. In this position, you'll work closely with a caseload of 48 students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs across varying grade levels. Youll serve as a crucial advocate and resource, helping students reach their full potential and thrive within the school environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience providing social work services in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Knowledge of current best practices in school social work, interventions, and compliance requirements
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, parents, and outside agencies
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• A passion for supporting students social and emotional development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect social work services to a caseload of 48 students in grades K-12
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement strategies that remove barriers to student learning
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 plans, and crisis intervention plans as needed
• Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and community resources
• Document services in accordance with school and district guidelines
