Qualifications & Experience:

• License or certification as a School Social Worker.
• Demonstrated experience in an educational setting, preferably working with multiple age groups, from elementary through high school.
• Strong knowledge of social-emotional learning frameworks and behavioral interventions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to develop trust with students, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Adaptability to manage diverse caseloads and work in a team-oriented environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and intervention for students facing challenges, whether academic, behavioral, or emotional.
• Develop and implement individual or group support plans tailored to student needs.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address barriers to learning and promote a positive school climate.
• Connect families with community resources and outside services as needed.
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation of casework and services provided.
• Contribute to staff professional development on student well-being and behavioral strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support special education teams as required.
