Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• State licensure or eligible for licensure as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents within a school or educational setting is highly desirable

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to create supportive intervention plans
• Connect students and families with community resources, including mental health, food security, and housing supports
• Support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Conduct needs assessments and develop programs to address school-wide issues such as bullying prevention, attendance, and engagement
• Advocate for students, ensuring their voices and needs are heard and addressed in the school community
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices
