Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active licensure as a school social worker in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience providing social work services in school or pediatric settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
• Demonstrated knowledge of emotional and behavioral support strategies for students in grades K-4
• Skill in conducting assessments and developing individualized support plans
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity in engaging diverse learners and communities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work interventions and counseling services to elementary students requiring emotional support
• Partner with classroom staff, special educators, and parents to foster student well-being and academic progress
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
• Provide crisis intervention, facilitate small groups, and support a positive school climate
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all school and state policies
